As the current semester of Graduate School in the Washington, DC area has come to an end, I finally had a free weekend to make the pilgrimage to Katie’s Cars & Coffee, a weekly event hosted by Katie’s Coffee House in Great Falls, Virginia. Katie’s Cars & Coffee is from 6am-9am every Saturday, rain or shine. It is a wonderful event where car people can geek out on all things vehicular for three hours and sip some great coffee. I’ve been a few times in past, including the day of the infamous “Ferrari Crash” last August. Despite the Ford Focus being the top selling vehicle in the world, Ford has decided to redesign the 2015 Ford Focus compact car to be bolder, smarter, and even more fuel efficient. Taking design queues from the Fiesta and Fusion, the front fascia and front hood have all been redesigned, including the headlamps and fog lamps. The liftgate and taillamps have also been redesigned for the hatchback, as well as the trunklid on the sedan. Every model except the S will see available redesigned wheels ranging from 15″ – 18″.
